Preparation and Site Conditions

Installation Techniques
Overlapping Joints

Securing the Membrane

Transitions and Details
Special attention must be paid to transitions between different floor levels, around pipes and other penetrations, and at the perimeter of the installation. Proper sealing around these areas is crucial to prevent moisture ingress. Specialized sealing materials or techniques may be required.
Post-Installation Considerations
After installation, the DPM must be protected from damage during subsequent construction phases. This may involve the use of protective layers or temporary coverings. Inspect the membrane for any defects or damage before proceeding with subsequent layers of flooring.
